What is a Kid’s Glory School?

The school is for children who are 6-12 years old, (there is pre-school teacher with the same format available). The school is designed to teach foundational principles in a practical way. My heart is for them to know that God loves them, that they can hear the voice of God as a child, and can begin to walk in their giftings as children. They come to the realization that church and being a Christian need not be boring but is actually fun and life giving!

Understanding the vision is imperative

There must be a partnership between the leadership of the church, parents and the Equipping a Generation Team. Our desire is for more than a great weekend for the children but that the church takes what has been imparted and build on it! The most successful Kids Glory Schools are those that also include leadership training and an opportunity to share the vision for children in a Sunday morning service.

A Typical Kid’s Glory School Schedule consists of six sessions.
During the School Year: Friday and all day Saturday (times vary on each individual church)
Summer: weekdays and other options available

History of the Kid's Glory School

The Kid’s Glory School began in the summer of 2005. It is based on the adult version of the Glory School but on a child’s level. After spending the last 2 years conducting schools and seminars for leaders and workers on how to equip their children to hear God’s voice, I wanted to give an update on what I feel is a movement of training the next generation. The school’s goal is that together we would equip a generation who would turn to the Lord with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their might. We provide training that develops tender hearts in children. Children who seek after His presence, have a desire to do what is right in the eyes of the Lord, walk in His ways and not turn to the right or to the left.

The schools consists of different teaching sessions with topics such as equipping to hear God’s voice, developing a heart toward prayer, and equipping to minister. Under each topic it is broken into sessions such as understanding prayer, using the bible in prayer, what makes you, you? (body, soul, and spirit). And many more…

Not only do we have deep biblical truths on their understanding level but FUN that consists of games, action songs, and more to make the time together something that will change their lives forever!!!!!!!!!!

After every school, testimonies have come of what God did in the children, the adults, and the vision it instilled to mentor children in the things of the Spirit. Adults who came just to watch received their prayer language as the kid’s were being taught on tongues. A hunger for the word is stirred in the children, one child wanted to buy them their own bible immediately after they left! Parents come to me with tears in their eyes, saying that the weekend has changed their child’s life. But, my favorite one is from a school in Canada. After leading them in soaking prayer, a little girl around 6 years old raised her hand with tears streaming down her cheeks and said, “I heard Jesus tell me for the very first time that He loves ME!”

It should be just as common to hear that a church has a kid’s prayer team, healing team, prophetic team, as it to hear they have a Sunday School. I encourage you to provide your children with opportunities to experience the presence of God. That they would “taste of Him and see that He is good!!!!!!!!!!!”
