Patricia King, XP Acting School, President

Patricia is a passionate, prophetic personality who is the host of Extreme Prophetic Television. She has had over 25 years of background as a Christian minister in conference speaking, prophetic service, church leadership, and television & radio appearances. Patricia is an author of books, booklets and manuals and has produced many informative resources through the medias of tapes, videos, CDs and DVDs. Her reputation in the Christian community is world-renowned. You will find her to be sincere, genuine, generous, honest, and real.

Missy Barber - Instructor and Coach

Missy Barber was trained as an actor through the New York Film Academy located at Universal Studios. She has written theater productions, produced kid’s church theater and presentations, and was an assistant director for community theater. Missy’s passion includes acting for film in television, soap operas, and industrial films. She has been a voice actor for radio, commercials, television, computer curriculum, and audio books. Missy has worked with filming on location in Arizona and Los Angeles. Her instructional style will inspire actors to develop their craft and pursue their passion with grace and purpose.

Scott Lairson - Instructor and Coach

Scott Lairson has worked as a casting director in Hollywood for years. His projects have included Emmy Award winning NYPD Blue and various other Steven Bochco Productions such as “Brooklyn South,” “City of Angels,” “NYPD 2069,” “Marriage,” “Philly” and “Blind Justice.” He also worked on “Desperate Housewives,” “Ghost Whisperer,” and many feature and independent films. He is experienced in working in management positions with talent and modeling agencies. In addition, Scott worked for 3½ years in the music industry. His passion is to see the television and film industry filled with the life and light of the Kingdom of God.

Shirley Ross - Instructor and Coach

Shirley began her entertainment career acting in commercials and films. She later moved into directing and producing in Los Angeles. Shirley studied acting under coaches Howard Fine and Molli Benson, and studied directing at UCLA in Los Angeles while working with the Academy Award winning  special effects  team ADI on films such as “Alien 3,” “Death Becomes Her” and “Wolf” with Mike Nichols. She moved “behind the scenes” as a studio development executive with the sale of one her original television pilots to MGM Studios. Shirley is currently the producer/director of “Extreme Prophetic with Patricia King” as well as co-founder and executive creative director of XPmedia.com.

Geoff McClelland -Photographer

Geoff is a graduate of the University of Idaho and is part of the XPmedia production crew. He is a very creative photographer and has loved it since childhood.  He now lives in Maricopa, Arizona, with his wife and three daughters.

Jonathan Nixon - Producer/Director/Cameraman

Jonathan Nixon has over 20 years experience in the film and television industry. Producer, director, cinematographer, camera operator, gaffer, production coordinator, grip, prop assistant, rigger, soundman, editor, and production assistant. His feature film credits include: “Baby Geniuses” for Columbia Pictures, “Red Serpent” for Tri Coast Studios, and “The Order,” “Derailed,” and “Prozac Nation” for Millennium Films. Jonathan teaches Film and Television Production classes for UCLA Extension Film School and Valencia Community College Film Programs and recently produced and directed two one-hour television documentary specials. He is currently developing a series of television specials including: “Modern Day Prophets,” “Dreams & Visions,” “City Of Angels” and “Portals To Heaven.”


Stephen Wistar - Instructor

Stephen Wistar has written numerous, screenplays, novels, and story treatments during his prolific career in the entertainment industry.  He has also worked as a film production assistant, actor, writer, and film critic.  He now shares his wealth of screenwriting knowledge and industry experience as a respected writing teacher and coach.


Melanie Wistar - Instructor

Melanie Wistar has worked in the film and television industry for over fifteen years.  She has worked as a writer’s assistant, screenwriter, and creative consultant on many network series and pilots including hit TV shows such as “Coach,” “Roseanne,” and “Whose Line is it Anyway?”  Melanie is now a freelance screenwriter, story consultant, and screenwriting coach for those aspiring to learn the craft.


Elizabeth A. Nixon, Esquire - Copyrights, Trademarks, Corporations & LLC's

Elizabeth A. Nixon is a writer and an attorney.  After graduating summa cum laude from U. of Central Florida with a B.A. in English, Elizabeth earned a law degree at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.

As founder of Nixon Law Corporation, Elizabeth serves media clients with consulting, copyrights, corporate and LLC business planning.

Elizabeth was featured in Vanity Fair magazine, authored legal articles for Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine, teaches at UCLA Extension and is a guest speaker for corporate clients such as Morgan Stanley and Northern Trust Bank. She is the recipient of the 2005 Business Woman of the Year Award, served an internship at the IRS and also served as in-house legal counsel for Pepperdine University. Elizabeth A. Nixon is licensed to practice in California and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
